Vinnie on Slipnot's cd??

I heard of a possibility that Vinnie tracked the last Slipnot record. Apparently Vinnie had said something about this at the Megadeath sessions!! Someone I know here in PHX that works with D. Mustane(spelling...?) had a conversation when Vinnie. Vinnie had said he ghosted on the Slipnot cd and a couple other bands(of the same style) recently.

How wacky is that?

Everyone talks about how fast the guy from Slipnot is and to find out.......the Vinnster is behind it all this time!!

First of all,it?s Slipknot!
It would be pretty intresting if Vinnie actualy recorded some songs. But I really doubt it,the drumming in the cd is way too Jordison. You can tell his style really easy. Never-the-less,its a cool thing.

I would be VERY surprised if this became official news. I believe Vinnie has better things to do than play with those stup...errrr...fine gentlemen.

Slipknot rules I saw them on the last tour they did I think it may have been ozzfest but then again my brain doesn't remeber that day too much as we really smoked up the ganja!

Has another schizoid-personality-incantation of RoastBeefC/ BobKOMD/ VCspeechImp/ 'DW'/ yada-yada showed up again?

Can anyone verify the VC / SlipNOT thing?

I mean, they're tight, chunky, good HR drumg, but PX / RX [Racer-] they're NOT...& the whole mask-personna, obv-gimmicky-thing is just a step away fr gwar [img]graemlins/sure.gif[/img] . The hole RZomb, gwar, 9-in, MManson thing never did anything for me but make me roll my eyes [& spew out any intelligence to be found much later on the street being picked at by the ravens/ vultures ;-p]. However, Ozzy was a whole other ballgame / exception in HR, despite the stupid dark/ demonic/ goth cult ties....[Sorry, just "making fiends & influencing peeps"...] [img]wink.gif[/img]

I listened today, I notice the 1st track has a different drum sound than the rest of the album..and after reading this thread, it may very well be Vinnie.
